Salah satu versi terjemahan dari A Song of Fire and Ice adalah versi bahasa Jepang. Dalam versi Jepang, novel A Song of Fire and Ice disebut sebagai Koori to Honoo no Uta (氷と炎の歌) yang telah terbit dari tahun 2006. Novel versi Jepang ini memiliki keunikan karena cover-nya menggunakan artwork bergaya manga.
