Sayangnya, Disney masih belum memberikan konfirmasi mengenai rumor ini, pun juga dengan bagaimana timeline Episode VII nantinya. Namun, dilihat dari hadirnya duo kembar anak dari Han Solo dan Leia ini, hampir dipastikan bahwa nantinya Episode VII akan mengambil timeline setelah Return of The Jedi. Selain rumor hadirnya Jacen dan Jaina Solo ini, kabar lain dari Disney adalah mengenai jadwal syuting dari Episode VII. Berbeda dari kehadiran Jacen dan Jaina yang masih sebatas rumor, jadwal syuting dari Episode VII ini sudah dikonfirmasikan oleh J.J Abrams, dimana mereka kabarnya sudah siap untuk memulai syuting pada Januari 2014 mendatang.
